General Laborer

POSITION SUMMARY The General Laborer is responsible for giving the final seal-of-approval on all finished products leaving the Brewhouse before they reach customers.

The General Laborer possesses knowledge of all finished goods and efficiently prepares all outgoing orders to ensure our beer reaches its final destination in impeccable condition.

The General Laborer works with all departments in the Brewhouse to ensure all orders are sent out timely and accurately.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Builds outgoing orders while maintaining accurate records of finished product inventoryAssists with inventory and ensures controls are being followedEnsures inventory is maintained within the inventory management systemConducts monthly inventory of packaging materials and finish goods for auditing/accountingLoads outgoing orders onto trucksReceives materials from suppliersReceives and track shipmentsSchedules freight pick-up of outgoing ordersEnsures finished goods are leaving the warehouse in pristine qualityProvides constant, attentive and friendly service to customers and vendorsUses appropriate equipment and follows proper SOPs for all dutiesResponsible for handling fragile packaging materialsResponsible for ensuring the warehouse is stocked and organizedResponsible for packing merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standardsAssists with production and packaging operations when needed.Ensures efficient palletizationProcesses and files various documentsOperates heavy machinerySorts empty kegs.

Stocks the taproom as needed Forklift maintenance as neededMaintains a clean and safe environment in the warehouseAssists with Cellar duties, as neededOther duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Must be able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work long hours of heavy manual laborMust be detail oriented, organized and have the ability to multi-taskMust possess excellent customer service skills and have a positive attitudeMust possess a strong sense of integrityAbility to demonstrate good judgement, problem solving, and decision-making skillsMust have an open mind and the ability to work with diverse groups of peopleUnderstanding of OSHA and industry safety standards.Basic computer knowledge is requiredKnowledge of Microsoft Office software is highly preferred MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED requiredMust be a minimum of 21 years of agePossess a valid Drivers License and be insurable by the TribePrevious shipping & receiving experience is preferredForklift certification is preferred BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS Pre-employment Drug Testing and a Department of Justice Fingerprinting clearance through Federal, State and Child Abuse Index is a contingency for an offer of employment.
