In our time of Company growth, we are seeking a Cardiology and Gastroenterology Operating Room Nurse (RN).

Work Location: Bradenton, FL.

As part of this role, you will: Perform a comprehensive assessment of the patient's clinical condition and psycho-social needs, including caregiver needs, during the perioperative periodObserve behavioral and physiologic changes due to medications; take appropriate action and documentDemonstrate knowledge of drugs, actions, and side effects of medications administeredProtect the patient's right to privacyProvide the patient with explanations and verbal reassurances as appropriateCommunicate clearly and concisely, assessment and reassessment of the patient in charting and with notification of surgeon and/or anesthesiologist as necessary; collaborates with all other health-care personnel and physicians in the delivery of coordinated patient careProvide the patient with explanations and verbal reassurances as appropriateAssess patient's physical and emotional response(s) to treatment(s); observes behavioral and physiologic changes due to medications, takes appropriate action, and documents interventions and response to interventions
