Job Description:
Job Family Definition:
Responsible for performing general and specific administrative support tasks involved in an engineering environment.
Responsibilities may include maintaining records, specifications, drawings and other related documentation.
Responsible for material management within the US Central Library inventory system (ACOIN) and material inventory within storage locations on site.
Shipping and receiving of materials for team members and others.
Assisting with the preparation of ECNs (Engineering Change Notices), creation of BOMs, and assisting internal and external customers in various administrative tasks directly related to the work unit's primary function.
These tasks may include, but not be limited to, assisting with researching information, assisting with analysis, compiling data for reports, coordinating work processes following work unit manager's directions and other established administrative procedures.
Coordinates work within the work unit and with other work units/departments, both internal and possibly external to the company.
May assist in work for one or more professional employees other than the direct supervisor.
Management Level Definition:
Applies basic knowledge of the job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments/tasks.
Good understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job.
Works on assignments that are routine to moderately complex in nature and require basic problem resolution.
Allocates own time efficiently.
Receives general instructions on all work.
Education and Experience Required:
* High school education or equivalent required.
* 6 months to 1 year (or equivalent) of administrative experience
* Exposure to engineering, computer technology, or servers is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Basic understanding of administrative processes and support functions
* Familiarity with computer hardware, server components, parts, and related technology.
* Experience using digital productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot or similar AI applications.
