Job Summary

The Line Cook Lead is responsible for overseeing daily line operations and ensuring the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality food.

This position provides leadership, training, and support to Line Cooks while maintaining compliance with food safety standards, recipes, portion controls, and company procedures.

The Line Cook Lead promotes operational excellence and contributes to an efficient, team-oriented kitchen environment.

Qualifications



* Previous line cook experience required.


* ServSafe Certification required.


* Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.


* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.


* Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.


* Commitment to food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions



* Lead and support kitchen staff during food service operations.


* Prepare menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.


* Train, coach, and mentor kitchen associates.


* Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.


* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.


* Communicate effectively with management and team members.


* Enforce company policies, food safety practices, and standard operating procedures.


* Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This position requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.

Associates may be exposed to hot surfaces, kitchen equipment, sharp objects, cleaning chemicals, and slippery floors.

Non-slip footwear is required.

Candidates offered employment must successfully complete a background check.

Compensation & Benefits



* Pay: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience.


* Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly.
