ERSEA Specialist

ERSEA Specialist Location: 127 South Front Street, Fremont, OH 43420 Schedule: Monday - Thursday (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM OR 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Weekly Hours: 34 hours per week Employment Type: Year-Round Full-Time Pay Rate: $23.47 - $29.81 per hour, based on education and experience Position Overview: Coordinate and oversee Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance (ERSEA) processes to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and program requirements.

Support enrollment, eligibility determination, staff training, community outreach, and data management to ensure eligible children and families receive timely services.

Ability to obtain Microsoft Excel and Word certifications within six months of hire.

Experience: At least three years of experience completing applications for services to low-income families and with word excel and using internet-based software programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the implementation, compliance and monitoring of Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA) according to Head Start Performance Standards.

Oversee and process applications for accuracy and timeliness including determining eligibility and selection criteria for new and participating families in Child Plus.

Maintain knowledge of the program's selection criteria system for eligibility and ensure correct documentation is used to determine eligibility.

Monitors all information prior to enrolling a child.

Follow the HSPS Guidelines to ensure all requirements are met regarding serving children with disabilities and families who exceed the federal poverty level.
