Registered Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse Location: 1350 Mackey Branch Drive, #110, Chattanooga, TN 37421, United States Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse at Implants and Oral Surgery of Chattanooga, you will play a critical role in supporting the doctor during surgical procedures, managing medication and inventory, and ensuring patient safety and care.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring intravenous (IV) sedation, managing drug counts, preparing and organizing medications, and providing follow-up care to patients.

Key Responsibilities: Review patient health history and prepare for surgical procedures.Initiate and monitor IVs and patient vitals during surgery.Assist the surgeon and provide support in surgical suites.Ensure accurate counting and management of all controlled substances and medications.Prepare and distribute syringe boxes and maintain adequate supplies.Regularly inspect and manage emergency medications and equipment.Perform follow-up calls with patients to ensure proper recovery.Manage scheduling and coordination of medical appointments and training sessions.Handle the procurement and restocking of all necessary medical supplies and medications.

Essential Skills: Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing needs.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.Previous experience in healthcare, preferably in dental or surgical environments.Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities.Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and navigate various departments.Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking, with hand-eye coordination for handling office and medical equipment.
