Manufacturing Engineer

A Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and processes to ensure products, services, and operations consistently meet defined standards and customer expectations.

They play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement and optimizing quality across an organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties: 1.

Creating and implementing processes, procedures, and documentation that align with the industry best practices and company goals, and update as necessary.

2.

Establish clear quality metrics, standards, and specifications for products, services, and processes.

Monitor performance against these standards through regular audits, inspections, and data analysis.

3.

Implement and manage quality control procedures to ensure products and services meet established standards.

This may involve conducting inspections, testing, and audits throughout the production or pre-production delivery process.

4.

Identify and investigate quality problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

5.

Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

6.

Educate and train employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure everyone understands and adheres to quality requirements.

7.

Work closely with production, engineering, project management, and other departments to ensure alignment on quality goals and processes.

Prepare reports and dashboards to track quality metrics, communicate findings to stakeholders, and provide insights for improvement.

Essential Skills and Qualifications: 1.

Knowledge of quality management systems, quality control techniques, and process improvement methodologies.

4.

Ability to lead and motivate teams, collaborate effectively with others, and foster a culture of quality.

Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret quality data, and create clear and concise reports for management.

Qualifications & Experience 1.

Requires 3+ years in quality management or supervisory roles in production or quality control.

2.

Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and Six Sigma methodology.

3.

Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

4.

Familiarity with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.
