About The Role We are seeking a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to lead the design, integration, verification, and lifecycle support of complex electrical systems for medical devices.

This role combines electrical engineering, systems engineering, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to develop safe, reliable, and regulatory-compliant products.The ideal candidate has strong experience in medical device development, including hardware architecture, embedded systems integration, verification and validation, and compliance with FDA and international standards.

What You'll Do Lead development of electrical system architecture for medical devices and associated subsystemsDefine system requirements, interfaces, and performance specificationsDesign and review analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics systemsSupport sensor integration, signal conditioning, motor control, and communication interfacesCollaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure full system integrationTranslate user needs into technical requirements and traceability documentationPerform system-level trade studies and technical risk assessmentsDevelop interface control documents (ICDs), block diagrams, and system modelsDrive requirements management and change control processesTranslate user needs into technical requirements and traceability documentationPerform system-level trade studies and technical risk assessmentsDevelop interface control documents (ICDs), block diagrams, and system modelsDrive requirements management and change control processesMentor junior engineer and provide technical leadership as required/needed.

What We Look For Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field712+ years of experience in electrical or systems engineeringExperience working with R20 Waveform systemsExperience developing regulated medical devicesStrong understanding of analog and digital circuit design; embedded systems; power management; signal integrity and EMC; system integration and troubleshootingExperience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes; logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers and power analyzersExperience with Class II or Class III medical devicesUnderstanding of imaging systems, surgical robotics, patient monitoring, wearables, and implantable devices...
