Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities

Position has direct responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of all production lines assigned.

Position also has responsibility for prioritizing the work assignments for the maintenance associates and manufacturing process engineers assigned to their lines to effectively support manufacturing operations.

The shift supervisor reports to this position.

Position is responsible for fostering a team focused work environment to achieve plant and company goals and objectives and is also responsible for participating in activities to enhance the growth and development of all manufacturing operations personnel.

This includes safety, environmental, productivity, quality, maintenance, lean six sigma events and financial performance.Qualifications

• Cross Functional: Problem Solving Techniques, Lean Six Sigma, Cost Management, Budget Management, Manufacturing Industry, Managing Direct Reports, Leadership Experience.
• Manufacturing: Safety Procedures and Manufacturing Operations.
• Personal Skills: Conflict Resolution, Time/Priority Management, Work on a Team, Reading/ Comprehension, Stress Management, Training/Mentoring Others, Self-Motivated, Organizational Skills, Analytical Skills.
• Software Skills: Microsoft Excel and Word, SAP

• BS/BA degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years of experience in a Manufacturing setting preferred
• Prior experience managing Indirect employees preferredAbout Us
