Per Diem Nurse - Option 3 - Oncology - Chemotherapy Clinic

Work Schedule:

A Per Diem Registered Nurse Option III must commit to work a defined period of time for a specific department (Inpatient Unit(s), Clinic(s), or Surgical Services).

Option III assignments require at least sixty percent (60%) FTE time commitment and may require a designated schedule commitment.


* A Per Diem Option III may be required to work evening, nights, holidays, weekend hours and/or stand-by/on-call hours based on the operational needs of the area.


* A minimum of one (1) summer and one (1) winter holiday may be required.


* Hours are scheduled following with standard unit-based scheduling practices

Qualifications



* Graduate of school of nursing Required


* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience



* 6 months of RN experience Required


* Relevant Inpatient RN experience Preferred


* Ambulatory experience Preferred


* Relevant oncology experience Preferred


* Chemotherapy experience Preferred


* Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required


* Current CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required


* Certification in specialty area of practice Preferred
