Claims Representative

Job Overview:

Serve as the first point of contact for post sales support, delivering best in class service to customers across the UK & Ireland.

The role focuses on back office support on logging the majority of customer queries while actively promoting digital support tools to enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities include case management, Inquiry logging, RMA request and returns chasing.

Key Responsibilities:


* Act as the first point of contact for post sales support, delivering best in class service to customers across the UK and Ireland.


* Provide back office support by managing and logging the majority of incoming customer enquiries accurately and efficiently.


* Own and manage customer cases end to end, ensuring timely updates and resolution in line with service standards.


* Log, track, and manage enquiries across internal systems to ensure data accuracy and visibility.


* Process RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) requests in line with company policies and procedures.


* Proactively monitor, follow up, and chase returns to ensure completion within agreed timelines.


* Promote and encourage the use of digital support and self service tools to enhance customer experience and service efficiency.


* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, escalate where necessary, and support continuous improvement of post sales processes.

Skills and attributes:



* Bachelor's degree with previous experience in customer support or sales is required


* Adept at understanding and manipulating data into suitable shared formats.


* Confident in the use and interrogation of a variety of systems to investigate and validate customer claims.


* Understanding of the concept of customer experience and NPS


* Technical competence - basic technical understanding of Schneider core offers an advantage


* Confident in the promotion of digital technologies to customers and coach the team to effectively overcome objections by promoting features and benefits.


* Excellent PC skills (Microsoft, Windows, Salesforce);


* Time management skills, with the ability to prioritise, multi task and remain calm under pressure


* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.


* Ability to work on own initiative, whilst actively contributing to the team goals


* High standard of verbal and written communication skills are essential
