Bilingual HR Coordinator

Job Summary: The Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department while serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers.

This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with and support a diverse workforce.

The role plays a key role in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, HRIS data management, compliance, and employee engagement.

As the first point of contact for many HR-related matters, the HR Coordinator is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional, and service-oriented experience for employees and visitors.

Supervisory Responsibilities: · None Duties/Responsibilities: · Must be fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for employees seeking HR assistance, providing exceptional customer service and timely support.

· Greet employees, applicants, visitors, and vendors in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner.

· Translate verbal and written communications, policies, training materials, and HR documents between English and Spanish.

· Assist employees with HR-related questions, forms, benefits information, employment verification requests, and general inquiries.

· Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, coordinating pre-employment requirements, and preparing employment documentation.

· Conduct new hire orientation and complete all onboarding documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

· Coordinate orientation sessions, interviews, meetings, training programs, and employee events.

· Maintain accurate employee personnel files and electronic HR records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with record retention requirements.

· Enter, update, and maintain employee information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

· Assist with payroll-related changes, including employee status changes, timecard corrections, supervisor updates, department changes, and other employment transactions.

· Support employee benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying life events, and employee communications.

· Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, presentations, correspondence, forms, signage, and other documentation as needed.

· Assist with compliance activities, internal audits, and government reporting requirements.

· Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, wellness activities, and company events.

· Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee, medical, payroll, and personnel information.

· Communicate professionally and effectively with employees, managers, vendors, staffing agencies, and external partners.
