Housekeeping Room Attendant / Housekeeper-Ama de Hotel, West Cliff Inn

Looking for a workplace where your hard work is appreciated? West Cliff Inn, a beautiful 10-room boutique hotel overlooking the Santa Cruz coastline, is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Room Attendant to join our close-knit team.

Our boutique property allows you to take pride in creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for every guest.

We're looking for someone who enjoys staying active, works efficiently, and wants to be part of a supportive team where everyone works together.

Schedule Part-time (2030 hours per week) Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m.

to approximately 4:00 p.m.

Additional hours may be available during busy seasons.

Reliability and consistent attendance are essential.

What You'll Do Clean and prepare guest rooms to our high standards Make beds, dust, vacuum, sanitize bathrooms, and replenish guest amenities Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels Clean and maintain common areas Ensure every room is clean, comfortable, and guest-ready Greet guests with a friendly smile and professional attitude Work as part of a small team that supports one another to deliver exceptional guest experiences What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Takes pride in doing quality work Works efficiently without sacrificing attention to detail Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Is dependable and punctual Enjoys working independently while also being a team player Communicates professionally and respectfully with guests and coworkers Is flexible and willing to help wherever needed Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not required.

We are happy to train the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements This is an active position requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting, and climbing stairs throughout the day.

Because West Cliff Inn is a historic property, team members regularly walk up and down three flights of stairs.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
