Mission Valley Post Acute is looking for a dependable, energetic, and compassionate Full-Time Dietary Aide to join our dietary services team.

* $18.54-$19.54 per hour , based on experience

Responsibilities


* Assist with meal preparation and tray assembly according to prescribed diets


* Deliver and collect meal trays in a timely and courteous manner


* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment


* Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following sanitation guidelines


* Stock food and supplies as needed


* Follow all food safety, infection control, and dietary department policies


* Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, families, and staff


* Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure quality meal service

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred


* Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required


* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus


* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team


* Strong communication and customer service skills


* Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent resident care
