As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will focus on diagnosing, treating, and preventing mental illnesses and emotional disorders for the adult population.

You will evaluate patients mental and physical well-being, create personalized treatment plans, and prescribe medication as needed.

This role plays a crucial part in supporting patients needs and promoting improved mental health outcomes.

Develop individualized treatment plans, incorporating therapy, medication, and lifestyle changes.Prescribe and manage medications, monitoring their effectiveness and potential side effects.Educate patients on medication management, including the importance of consistency, side effect management, and potential long-term impacts.Offer immediate support for patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises, including suicidal ideation, violent tendencies, or severe distress.Participate in case reviews, multidisciplinary team meetings, and clinical supervision.Ensure a patient-centered approach by fostering a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment.

Requirements: Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychiatric Nursing from an accredited college or university; active and unrestricted State of Minnesota License to practice medicine.

Must meet Mental Health Professional Qualifications as per MN State Statute 245I.04.02.Must have a mental health certification (PMHNP) recognized by the board of nursing.Minimum 1-2+ years' experience practicing as an APRN is required.
