Investigate structure-dynamic-mechanical properties of ionogels using a variety of spectroscopic tools covering a broad range of length/time scale.

Student will perform experiments at Stevens and ORNL, will analyze/interprete the data, and summarize/present findings ro our computational collaborator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



* Plan/prepare the samples designed for neutron scattering experiments and dynamic characterizations


* Develop expertise in setting up, running, and analyzing experimental data particularly on rheology, neutron reflectivity, small-angle neutron scattering and X-ray reflectivity, dielectric spectroscopy


* Give presentations and work collaboratively with the simulation group at Oklahoma State University


* Disseminate research by writing journal articles and giving talks at the national conferences


* Assist with guiding undergraduate students and mentoring Master students
