Holiday Inn Schaumburg is looking for a reliable and energetic Line Cook to join our team! If you enjoy creating quality meals, working in a fast-paced kitchen, and delivering great guest experiences, we'd love to meet you.

As a Line Cook, you'll prepare and cook menu items to restaurant standards, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and help ensure every guest enjoys a great dining experience.

Key Responsibilities



* Prepare and cook meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other menu items.


* Operate kitchen equipment including grills, ovens, fryers, and broilers.


* Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.


* Set up, stock, and maintain designated cooking stations.


* Assist with food preparation and kitchen organization.


* Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.


* Maintain a clean and organized work area.


* Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.


* Communicate effectively with team members and management.


* Follow all safety and security procedures.

Skills & Qualifications



* Strong commitment to providing excellent guest service.


* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


* Good organizational and time management skills.


* Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.


* Strong verbal and written communication skills.


* Professional and positive attitude.


* Basic computer and math skills.


* Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred.
