Whitney Oaks Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our collaborative and resident-focused therapy team.

What You'll Do


* Assist Physical Therapists in delivering individualized treatment plans


* Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility interventions


* Encourage residents through meaningful progress and personalized care


* Accurately document services in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines


* Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team


* Create an encouraging, safe, and motivating environment for all residents

What We're Looking For


* Active California PTA license


* Prior skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but new grads are welcome


* Strong communication skills and a positive, resident-centered approach


* Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work well within a team


* A passion for helping residents reach their highest level of independence
