Francis Healthcare Center is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Weekend Admissions Assistant to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in creating a positive first impression for residents, families, and visitors.

As the Weekend Admissions Assistant, you will help coordinate the admissions process, provide administrative support, and ensure a welcoming experience for incoming residents while working closely with the clinical and admissions teams.

Key Responsibilities


* Assist with the resident admissions and intake process


* Welcome new residents and their families with professionalism and compassion


* Prepare and organize admission paperwork and resident files


* Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately


* Coordinate with nursing, social services, and other departments to ensure smooth admissions


* Maintain accurate documentation and resident records


* Verify required admission documents and assist with data entry


* Support the Admissions Coordinator with administrative tasks as needed


* Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations


* Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, referral sources, and visitors

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent required


* Previous administrative, receptionist, admissions, or healthcare experience preferred


* Excellent customer service and communication skills


* Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications


* Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment


* Professional demeanor and positive attitude


* Experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting is a plus
