Software Engineer II / Senior Software Technician II

Responsibilities:

Work in an Agile Scrum team on a software configurator tool used to configure various industrial devices such as meters, circuit breakers, etc.

Work on creating migration tools to seamlessly migrate data, features, and backups from one platform to another.

Analyze customer requirements and develop corresponding software designs.

Participate in project estimation, code reviews, testing, deployment activities, and planning.

Design and manage relational databases, including schema creation, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.

Ensure high-quality code by adhering to best practices and design patterns.

Design and implement automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests.

Maintain technical documentation for software architecture, APIs, and database structures.

Be a flexible team member, willing to contribute wherever needed to help the Agile team achieve its collective goals.
Mandatory Skills:

Proven experience in full-stack development, with strong knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies.

Expertise in C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, WPF, and .NET Web API.

Experience with Node.js.

Proficiency in Angular (version 8 and above).

Experience with Entity Framework, SQL, and PostgreSQL, with a solid understanding of database concepts including normalization, indexing, query optimization, and transactions.

Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

Experience with WebSockets and Rebus.

Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.

Proven experience collaborating with developers, product owners, and application engineers within a SAFe/Agile framework.

Demonstrated ability to articulate and justify software design decisions to stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:

Strong knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, or similar protocols used in automation, automotive, or telecommunication domains.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong team-oriented attitude.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or a related field.

Approximately 8+ years of experience in developing software products within the Electrical, Industrial, Automotive, or Telecommunication domains.
