East Bay Post Acute is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Services team.

As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in ensuring residents receive nutritious meals and excellent dining service while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.
The Opportunity

Position: Dietary Aide - Full-Time
Location: East Bay Post Acute
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Responsibilities


* Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and meal service according to dietary guidelines


* Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely and courteous manner


* Review resident meal tickets to ensure accuracy and dietary compliance


* Assist residents during meal service as needed


* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food storage areas


* Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following sanitation standards


* Properly store food and supplies according to facility and health department requirements


* Follow infection control, food safety, and workplace safety procedures


* Work collaboratively with dietary staff and other departments to support resident satisfaction

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred


* Previous dietary, food service, healthcare, or restaurant experience preferred but not required


* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus


* Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment


* Strong customer service and communication skills


* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift


* Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
