Administrative Clerk

The North America team is currently looking for an Administrative Clerk to join our Taylorville, IL facility.

The Administrative Clerk plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to visitors, employees, and leaders at the Taylorville, IL facility.

This role provides general office and receptionist support through a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.

As the first-person visitors and customers meet, this position is responsible for creating a professional and welcoming experience while representing Grain & Protein Technologies

Your Impact


* Answer the phone in a professional manner and direct calls to the correct offices


* Greet and assist visitors and connect them with the appropriate employee


* Help maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges and maintaining the visitor log


* Handle incoming and outgoing mail


* Complete data entry for Purchase Requisitions


* Scan credits, bills of landing, delivery tickets, and related documentation


* Book travel arrangements


* Maintain inventory of supplies and order as needed


* Maintaining a filing system


* Maintain the attendance line and log


* Assist in planning and preparation of company events


* Support the team with assigned project work


* Minimal local travel or travel to other facilities as needed

Your Experience and Qualifications


* High school diploma or GED


* 2 years of experience as an Administrative Clerk or in a related field


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills


* Experience with administrative and clerical procedures


* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
