Position Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily care needs while promoting dignity, comfort, and well-being.

Working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, you will help ensure residents receive the highest quality of care throughout the night.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


* Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


* Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff


* Respond to call lights and resident requests in a timely and professional manner


* Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges


* Provide assistance with meals and hydration as needed


* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents


* Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies


* Promote resident dignity, privacy, and independence at all times

Qualifications


* Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Ability to work effectively as part of a team


* Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care


* Previous skilled nursing or sub-acute experience preferred, but not required
