Midtown Oaks Post Acute is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our exceptional rehabilitation team on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities


* Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist


* Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional independence


* Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic exercise programs


* Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and progress toward goals


* Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, residents, and families to support optimal outcomes


* Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care initiatives


* Maintain compliance with all facility, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications


* Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license


* Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program


* Skilled nursing, post-acute, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred


* Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills


* Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care


* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
