Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a reliable and compassionate Dietary Aide to support our dietary services department.

This role is essential in ensuring residents receive nutritious meals and excellent service in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities


* Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and meal service.


* Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely and courteous manner.


* Follow resident diet orders and portion control guidelines.


* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.


* Wash dishes, utensils, and food service equipment.


* Stock supplies and assist with inventory as directed.


* Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies.


* Work cooperatively with dietary staff and other departments to support resident care.

Qualifications


* Previous experience in food service, healthcare, long-term care, or hospitality preferred but not required.


* Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


* Strong customer service and communication skills.


* Dependable attendance and punctuality.


* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.


* Food Handler Card preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.
