LOSS PREV/SECURITY SPECLST

Maintain corporate campus security in association with the Main Office Loss Prevention Manager and administration team.

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus 1+ years of security experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.


* Minimum 18 years of age


* Ability to pass drug test


* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


* Ability to work weekends on a regular basis


* Ability to work any shift


* Ability to travel independently on an occasional basis


* Maintain confidentiality


* Accuracy/attention to detail


* Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects


* Familiarity with loss prevention terms and processes


* Valid driver's license

Desired


* Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure


* BA/BS degree in criminal justice


* Retail security experience


* Law enforcement experience


* Familiarity with Microsoft Word


* Ability to continue education and training



* Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service


* Maintain access control system


* Assist with key control and coordinate with facilities maintenance to verify proper maintenance of access points


* Assist with the security of the corporate campus facility and grounds, including facilities under construction or remodel


* Respond to individuals presenting security concerns


* Investigate security related issues and concerns, including resolution and follow-up


* Prepare security related reports and documents


* Collaborate with local authorities


* Report and document unsafe conditions


* Investigate and document incidents
