Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Job Overview
Join our dedicated dietary team as a Part-Time Dietary Aide, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will directly contribute to the well-being and comfort of our residents.

In this vital role, you will assist in food preparation, service, and sanitation within a compassionate healthcare environment.

Responsibilities


* Assist with food production and meal preparation, following established recipes and safety guidelines


* Serve meals to residents with friendly customer service, ensuring proper portioning and presentation


* Maintain cleanliness of the dietary department by cleaning kitchen equipment, dishes and utensils, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards


* Support food handling procedures to promote food safety and prevent contamination


* Buss tables, clear trays, and assist with dishwashing to uphold a hygienic dining environment


* Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision to support daily meal service needs


* Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and kitchen operations to ensure compliance with health regulations

Qualifications


* Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates


* Knowledge of food production, preparation, serving, and sanitation practices


* Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy meal periods


* Experience with dietary departments or food service roles is advantageous


* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining excellent customer service standards


* Basic understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures


* Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning or bussing duties as needed
