We are seeking a well-rounded hands-on developer that is experienced in building systems that support the full investment management cycle with the main focus on full stack development using Java, React, SpringBoot and SQL in a native AWS environment.

You will be part of the investment technology team and have good business knowledge and communication skills to work with the stakeholders and develop functional specifications.

You will be joining a high-performance, award-winning team who build applications that support the investment management cycle including research, portfolio management and investment.

Job responsibilities


* Optimize back end applications for maximum speed, reliability and scalability


* Collaborate with technical architect and Designers for new products


* Follow and promote Agile practices including Scrum, Lean, BDD, TDD and Continuously Delivery


* Research new technologies, identify and learn best practice, adapt quickly and provide technical guidance across the organization.


* Work with multiple globally distributed teams to deliver end-to-end solution across regions


* Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from Wealth Managers and Product Specialist


* Presenting and demoing to users, stakeholders, and technology groups

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience


* Experience in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, Spring Flux & Spring Security frameworks


* Experience in Web UI development using ReactJS, TypeScript, Html 5, CSS 3


* Relational Database development skills including SQL and data modelling


* Experience with CI/CD pipelines with designing and building applications natively on AWS, utilizing key services such as AWS Lambda, AWS ECS, S3, Aurora, and API Gateway


* Experience in high availability development and architectural practices


* Excellent analytical, problem solving, & decision-making skills.


* Proven track record of technical leadership experience
