Position Summary

As a Charge Nurse (LPN/RN), you will oversee day-to-day nursing operations on your unit, ensuring residents receive high-quality, compassionate care.

You will lead nursing staff, coordinate care delivery, and serve as a resource for both clinical and support teams.

Key Responsibilities


* Supervise and support CNAs and nursing staff on assigned unit


* Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with care plans


* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed


* Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and care team


* Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation


* Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transitions of care


* Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations


* Serve as a leader and mentor, promoting teamwork and accountability

Qualifications


* Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license in South Carolina (required)


* Current CPR certification required


* Must maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing


* Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred


* Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred


* Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills


* Passion for delivering compassionate, resident-centered care
