Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Vice President (VP) of Risk and Compliance Solutions in Columbus, Indiana.
The VP Risk Compliance Solutions is responsible for ensuring that the Credit Union maintains a culture of risk awareness and compliance through effective management of a functional risk management framework and oversight of the Compliance Management System.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This position may be required to perform additional duties as requested.

* Evaluates the maturity of Centra’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program and guides improvements to increase maturity.
Facilitates the identification, analysis, and monitoring of risks across all risk categories.
* Performs testing, tracks, and monitors issues, and prepares reports for management and the Enterprise Risk Committee (ERC) of the Board of Directors.
* Oversees coordination and completion of program and process risk assessments and recommends control improvements with accuracy and diplomacy.
* Coordinates quality assurance reviews, including scope and frequency of reviews.
Identifies gaps or quality assurance issues and recommends improvements to processes or internal controls.
Facilitates discussions on risk management.
* Collaborates as a strategic partner to Senior Management in determining and recommending risk appetite.
Maintains and revises Risk Appetite Statement and presents recommendations to ERC.
