* Advise colleagues on commercial issues to reduce legal risk. 


* Draft and negotiate contracts that support services, suppliers and partners. 


* Spot legal issues early and give clear recommendations that guide decisions. 


* Build strong relationships so teams come to you before a problem grows. 


* Track transactions and share trends to help improve how we work.

You have


* Experience providing independent commercial legal advice and managing your own workload


* Confidence negotiating commercial contracts and managing risk


* Experience mentoring or supervising others


* A law degree and/or solicitor or barrister qualification (or equivalent experience)


* Strong commercial contract and procurement law knowledge (IT contracts beneficial)
