Job Description:

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an experienced and inspiring Senior Director of Systems Engineering to lead our US Telcos Sales Engineering organization across secure service provider routing, campus & branch, and data center networking domains.

This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in fast‑moving environments, builds exceptional teams, and helps customers modernize their networks through AI‑driven operations, automation, and edge‑to‑cloud architectures.

You will guide strategy, grow top technical talent, and work directly with US Tier-1 Telcos.

This is a high‑impact, visible leadership role at the center of HPE's Networking transformation.

This role reports to the Global Leader of Service Provider Systems Engineers.

What You'll Do

Lead Technology Strategy


* Own the end-to-end networking technology strategy for US Telcos.


* Define and execute the customer technology strategy across AI Grid, campus networking, data center fabrics, and routing architectures.


* Drive customer adoption of modern designs including AI‑driven wired/wireless, EVPN/VXLAN, unified cloud management, and massively scaled routing.


* Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to influence roadmaps and deliver innovative end‑to‑end solutions.

Develop and Grow a High‑Performing Team


* Lead a talented Systems Engineering organization with deep expertise across networking domains.


* Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, inclusion, and continuous technical growth.
