As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorganChase within Corporate Technology's Enterprise Architecture team, you are an integral part of a team that develops high-quality architecture solutions for software applications and platform products.

You drive significant business impact by advancing the adoption of complex, strategic global solutions, influencing target state architecture, and building consensus across teams.

Your expertise helps shape the firm's technology strategy and ensures scalable, durable solutions are available firmwide.

Job responsibilities:


* Advise and influence executives, stakeholders, and portfolio owners, leading architecture review boards to develop and maintain IT infrastructure tools across the enterprise, including selection, integration, and retirement.


* Serve as a subject matter expert on IT Cloud & Infrastructure, delivering technology capabilities and managing sprawl in areas such as Application Infrastructure, Hosting, Networking, Application Integration, and Hyperconverged Infrastructure.


* Translate highly complex technical issues, trends, and approaches to leadership to drive innovation and enable strategic, well-informed decisions about target state architecture.


* Drive adoption and implementation of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies.


* Establish and lead an architecture governance body, ensuring compliance and governance with architecture decision records and policies.


* Create durable, reusable software frameworks that improve velocity and quality of output across teams and functions.


* Evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best technology solutions and approaches to achieve the future state architecture.


* Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for emerging technologies and vendors, advise on budgeting and financial impact, and identify cost savings opportunities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience


* Extensive knowledge of cloud and infrastructure domains: compute, storage, networking, cloud, virtualization, security, resiliency, and automation


* Demonstrated ability and knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery concepts and practices, including their measurement through service-level agreements, objectives, and indicators


* Demonstrated ability and extensive knowledge of observability practices (e.g., Open Telemetry, distributed tracing) and defining/measuring resiliency factors such as availability and recovery
