Buyer and Supply Chain Planner

What will you do?

• Ensure needs and resources are balanced (MRP) for raw material and components
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery on time
• Day to day PO placement and management of deliveries, including weekly calls and daily communication with suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels against targeted levels
• Ensure product availability by taking actions to solve backorders and shortages
• Support stock discrepancies analysis and drive correct actions to improve the process

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required.

Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education
• 3+ years of direct experience in purchasing, upstream planning and inventory management
• Previous experience on ERP system such as: AMAPS or SAP
• Business understanding of supply chain, value streams, reporting and forecasts
• Strong leadership and change management skills
• Strong influence and convincing skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
