About You

We're looking for someone who has:


* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.


* Minimum of 1-4 years in mechanical engineering systems design experience with a consulting firm for Industrial/Manufacturing/Process projects.


* E.I.

certification is required


* Prefer LEED certification


* Demonstrated knowledge using AutoCADD and REVIT software.


* Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

As a Mechanical EIT, you will:


* Conceptualizes the initial mechanical design approach for major phases of large industrial facilities projects.


* Prepares engineering reports, plans and specifications for major projects.

Design and produce engineering drawings and instructions based on calculations.


* Interprets and revise engineering drawings.


* Conceive, plan and conduct research in complex problem areas.


* Prepares plans and technical specifications, contract documents and estimates.


* Selects and size equipment for systems.


* Supervises the installation, repair and replacement of systems and ensure specifications and safety standards are met.


* Participate in contract bidding and administration.

Supervise and observe the design and ongoing progress of a project, including the coordination of the project with City, State and County officials and other outside agencies.


* Assist in coordination of projects with clients, contractors, outside consultants and firm staff.

Communicate and interact with project team members, client representatives, review agencies and others as appropriate to project.


* Assist in resolving a variety of complex problems (e.g., conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements).

Desirable Skills that are a "Plus":


* Digitally curious and comfortable diving in and working with coding and automation


* Design automation skills, including the application of parametric design tools such as Dynamo and Grasshopper


* Software Coding -especially with Python, and/or C#


* Working with Revit's API
