Contractor Channels Field Sales Engineer

We are looking for The Contractor Channels-Field Sales Engineer to be responsible for developing, managing, and growing business through contractors.

The role focuses on influencing project decisions, and increasing sales of products and solutions through contractor channels by building strong field-level relationships and ensuring effective execution across projects.

Key Responsibilities


* Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors.


* Identify, target, and onboard new contractors to expand market coverage and increase project penetration.


* Support contractors on live projects by providing technical and commercial support, and value engineering alternatives.


* Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, identify opportunities, and ensure product pull-through.


* Work closely with internal stakeholders to convert contractor influence into sales orders through authorized channels.


* Deliver product training, application workshops, and on-site demonstrations to contractor teams.


* Track contractor-related opportunities, project pipelines, and sales performance, providing regular reports to management.


* Collaborate with marketing teams to execute contractor-focused campaigns, promotions, and loyalty programs.


* Ensure contractors have access to up-to-date product information, technical documentation, and marketing tools.


* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics within the contractor segment.


* Provide structured feedback to product management and commercial teams on contractor needs and market requirements.


* Coordinate with internal teams such as supply chain, customer service, and finance to ensure smooth project execution.


* Support the implementation of channel policies, pricing frameworks, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications


* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.


* Minimum of 5 years of experience in field sales, contractor management, or project-based sales within the electrical or industrial sector.


* Strong understanding of electrical distribution, building technologies, or energy management solutions.


* Proven experience working with contractors, construction sites, and project-based sales environments.


* Demonstrated ability to influence project stakeholders and drive specification-led sales.


* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.


* Willingness to spend significant time in the field, including regular site visits.
