Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to support the Division Controller in leading key financial operations, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit preparation.

This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely financial information and driving process improvements across the department.

The Senior Accountant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, perform detailed financial and variance analysis, support ERP/system initiatives, and lead special projects that enhance overall financial performance.

Ideal candidates have strong analytical abilities, advanced Excel skills, and experience with financial systems and reporting tools.Abilities

* Financial Reporting & Analysis: Strong ability to prepare, analyze, and present financial data and variance reports.


* General Ledger Expertise: Proficient in managing general ledger processes and ensuring accuracy.

* Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to identify trends, discrepancies, and solutions to financial challenges.

* ERP & Financial Systems: Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, Essbase, BI) is a plus.


* Microsoft Office: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications for financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications


* Education: BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting.

CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required.


* Experience: At least three years of progressive experience in financial reporting/general ledger management.


* Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with Essbase, Oracle ERP, and Business Intelligence software is a plus.


* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, with an ability to explain complex financial matters clearly.
