Powder Coat Painter 4C - 1st Shift

Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm, with occasional overtime on Friday's

Key Responsibilities:
Powder Coat Application


* Apply powder coating materials to products at specified film thickness according to production requirements


* Monitor and maintain powder application equipment and system parameters


* Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or coating issues as they arise

Color Changes & Production Support


* Perform contamination-free color changes according to established procedures


* Complete color changes within designated timeframes to minimize production downtime

Quality & Safety


* Maintain a clean and organized powder application area


* Clean application equipment and maintain powder coating systems to ensure optimal performance


* Follow all safety guidelines, ISO procedures, and PPE requirements


* Participate in safety meetings and actively promote a safe work environment

Team Collaboration


* Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members to maintain steady workflow


* Support cross-training and assist coworkers when needed


* Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and operational efficiency

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred


* Previous experience in a manufacturing, sheet metal, or machine shop environment preferred


* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including reading prints and production routers


* Basic math skills


* Ability to operate production equipment safely and effectively


* Willingness to learn new operations and cross-train across roles

Physical Requirements


* Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion


* Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs as needed


* Manual dexterity and attention to detail required


* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, vibration, and moving equipment
