Senior Manager-Segment Marketing

This role will focus on building and growing Schneider Electric's presence in the New Energy Landscape and Data Center segments in India.

The position is market oriented and requires deep engagement with customers, consultants, EPCs, and the wider ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Market Understanding & Insights


* Develop a strong understanding of the New Energy and Data Center markets in India, including:
+ Key customer groups and stakeholders
+ Decision-making processes and buying behaviour
+ Policy, regulatory, and sustainability drivers


* Track market developments such as:
+ New projects, capacity additions, and investments
+ Technology trends and standards
+ Shifts in customer priorities and expectations


* Share regular, actionable market insights.

Opportunity Identification & Focus


* Identify high-potential sub-segments, applications, and use cases within New Energy and Data Centers.


* Help define where the organization should focus its time and resources.


* Support development of target account lists and opportunity pipelines.


* Continuously refine segment focus based on feedback from the field and project experience.

Customer & Ecosystem Engagement


* Engage directly with end customers, consultants, EPCs, OEMs, and partners.


* Participate in customer discussions to understand pain points, success criteria, and risks.


* Represent Schneider Electric in industry forums, conferences, and ecosystem interactions.


* Actively bring customer feedback and market learnings back into the organization.

Go-to-Market Support



* Work closely with sales teams to:
+ o Enable early engagement in key projects
+ o Support strategic pursuits and account planning


* Help shape partner engagement approaches relevant to each segment.

Competitive & Market Feedback


* Keep track of how competitors are positioned in the market.


* Understand why Schneider Electric wins or loses in specific projects.


* Share competitive and market feedback with sales and internal stakeholders to support better decision making.

Demand Creation & Visibility


* Support and execute segment specific marketing activities such as:
+ Industry events and seminars
+ Customer and consultant interactions

Internal Collaboration


* Act as a link between the market and internal teams.


* Work closely with sales, BD, presales and offer team.


* Provide clear market input to help shape priorities and actions.

Experience


* Strong exposure to customer facing or market facing roles such as segment marketing, business development, solution marketing, or technical sales.


* Experience working with consultants, EPCs, or large end customers is preferred.


* Engineering background preferred.
