VP, Accounts Receivable
Position Summary
The VP, Accounts Receivable provides oversight, leadership, and strategic direction to accounts receivable fund operations in accordance with Company guidelines, client needs, and legislative requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Oversees all aspects of contribution receivable posting, reconciliation, and collections operations to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met; proactively addresses issues, concerns, or additional operational needs.
* Mentors, coaches, and trains staff consistent with Company values and mission.
* Develops staff through performance management, goal setting, training, and effective employee relations to ensure superior service is consistently provided.
* Implements and monitors internal systems, reports, metrics, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
* Oversees vacation fund payouts process, 401K funds transfers, reciprocal processes, payroll audits, and other duties as contractually required by clients.
* In collaboration with other internal departments ensures accurate, organized, complete, and timely delivery of requested data.to client external auditors.
* Oversees quality, timeliness, and quantity of work produced to ensure regulatory, company, and client requirements are met.
* Oversees final review and sign off on account reconciliations for accuracy and reasonableness.
* Partners with Client Services to address and resolve service issues or escalations with clients; attends Board of Trustee meetings as needed.
* Partners with IT, PMO, Client Services, and other departments or teams to ensure efficient and accurate changes, implementations, and onboarding of new clients.
* Employs management oversight measures to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and legal guidelines.
* Responds to escalated inquiries and requests from clients, government agencies, unions, participants, attorneys, and consultants.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business.
* Twelve years of work experience in finance, accounting, or benefits administration.
* Seven years of experience in management roles.
* Thorough knowledge of health and/or welfare group benefits plans and associated administration systems.
* Thorough understanding of common accounting principles and practices.
* Working knowledge of accounting software.
* Thorough understanding of compliance and regulatory procedures related to the administration and processing of health and welfare benefits.
* Professional maturity with proven success nurturing internal and external relationships.
* Proven ability to recruit, lead and motivate a successful management team.
