* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required


* CPA or MBA Preferred


* 1 - 3 years' experience in accounting performing heavy reconciliation


* Strong knowledge of GAAP


* Excellent oral and written communication skills


* Basic word processing knowledge, preferably Word


* Strong spreadsheet knowledge, preferably Excel

* Performs root cause analysis of client accounts to resolve any discrepancies found in recording financial transactions


* Determines the appropriate amount to refund clients and provides recommendation to management for approval


* Reconciles and maintains the accuracy of client balances to include cash position


* Identifies client specific ledger discrepancies and provides correcting journal entries as identified in the client reconciliation process


* Independently performs detailed analysis of system claim payment data loaded into the client database


* Produces management reports summarizing reconciled transactions


* Customizes and transmits periodic statements to clients


* Prepares escrow confirmations to identify the amount and source of escrow funding per the requests by clients or independent auditors.


* Assists in training and development of Analysts in department


* Performs other related duties as required or requested


* Upholds the Crawford Code of Conduct
