Job responsibilities
* Manage Alternatives documents, including, submission, monitoring and working with clients to complete/correct
* Support Private Client Advisors and their clients by assisting with service requests and alternative investment transactions
* Help gather required documentation and coordinate with partners to ensure timely and accurate completion of transactions
* Respond to basic inquiries related to alternative investments, escalating complex issues to senior team members
* Learn and follow operational procedures, compliance requirements, and industry best practices to ensure activities are executed accurately and in accordance with firm policies
* Collaborate with Advisors, clients, and cross-functional teams to collect necessary information and facilitate approvals
* Track the progress of requests and provide status updates to Advisors and clients as needed
* Develop foundational knowledge of alternative investments, including hedge funds, private equity, private credit, private real estate, and infrastructure
* Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay current on product offerings, operational changes, and regulatory updates
* Contribute to a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the operations support team
* Seek guidance and mentorship from senior team members to support professional development
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* At least 1 year of Financial Services Experience
* Interest in alternative investments and willingness to learn
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* A valid and active Series 7 license is required or must be obtained within 90 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
* If you were registered after October 1, 2018 you must also have a valid and active Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam
* A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required or must be obtained within 90 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* Willingness to adapt and learn new technology and regulatory policies.
* Experience in operations or client service is a plus.
