Primary Purpose:
The Human Resource Assistant is responsible for contributing to the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource Department functions and duties.

The Human Resource Assistant carries out responsibilities in the following areas: communications, recruiting, employee relations, data entry and record keeping, social media and employee engagement/recognition.

Duties and Responsibilities:


* Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR department


* Assist with communications, HR documents and forms and coordinate social media


* Assist in recruiting including confirming interviews, orientation, onboarding process


* Support the maintenance of employee records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) (Kronos)


* Help employees log in and navigate HRIS (Kronos)


* Assist with employee relations and engagement, retention, recognition, training, and implementation of HR policies, practices, and procedures


* Perform other job related duties as necessary and based on business needs

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:


* HS diploma or equivalent GED required


* Solid work history demonstrating administrative abilities and skills


* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


* Data collection, data entry, and data management


* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing


* Ability to present information to a group


* Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality and professionalism


* Ability to work in a team environment and as a self-starter


* Must be at least 18 years of age


* Must be willing to successfully complete a pre-employment background check


* Must be willing to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
