Job Description:
Responsibilities:
* Analyze system components utilizing multiple engineering disciplines for products, systems, software, and solutions based on established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements
* Implements established test plans for existing designs, including validation of mechanical, electrical, software, and other engineering specifications and requirements.
* Collaborates with engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to isolate component failures and improve product quality
* Receive, log, label, and track Catch III material
* Perform visual inspection and test utilizing electrical analysis tools and equipment prior to performing system level tests
* Develop and execute test strategies to aid in failure replication and root cause analysis
Education and Experience Required:
* Bachelor or Associate degree with work experience in mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
* Typically 0-2 years experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Experience or understanding of appropriate engineering tools and test equipment.
* Requires a broad knowledge and application of engineering disciplines, methodologies, and tools.
* Good analytical and problem solving skills.
* Basic understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design.
* Basic knowledge of and experience in maintaining system hardware and software, utilizing diagnostic tools and debugging tools for problem isolation.
* Excellent organizational, collaborative, and customer relations skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and deadlines
* Strong verbal and written communications in English
* Must have availability to provide after-hours support work, as required.
* Ability to gather data and perform analysis of customer reported issues, request and follow advice from teammates or escalate to the next level of engineering with well described problem details
