As a Product Business Analyst in Real Time Payments, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle.
You are a key contributor to the success of product delivery and innovation.
You will work closely with Product Managers and Product Delivery Managers to analyze, document, and communicate detailed requirements, including field mappings, error codes, and process flows.
Your expertise will help drive efficient implementations, robust product launches, and high-quality client experiences.
With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
* Acts as a subject matter expert in assigned product domains, staying current on system capabilities, data structures, and business processes.
* Collaborates with Product Managers and Product Delivery Managers to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements for new and existing products.
* Develops and maintains comprehensive field mapping documentation across multiple systems, ensuring end-to-end traceability and accuracy.
* Defines and documents error codes, validation rules, and exception handling for both client-facing and internal systems.
* Facilitates requirements workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs with stakeholders to ensure clarity and completeness.
* Supports the product backlog by translating business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Partners with technology teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly, participating in solution design and testing as needed.
* Assists in change management activities by providing impact analysis and supporting communication of changes to relevant stakeholders.
* Monitors and reports on requirements traceability, ensuring alignment with product strategy and delivery goals.
* Identifies opportunities to improve data quality, process efficiency, and system integration.
* Escalates risks, blockers, or gaps in requirements to Product Managers and Product Delivery Managers for resolution.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in business analysis, product development, or a relevant domain area.
* Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
* Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, strategic development, requirements definition including complex systems analysis.
