Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 40 hours per week, day shift, Monday - Friday, 8- or 10-hour shifts, with rotating evening/weekend call responsibility with 1-hour response time.

Pay:


* Additional components of compensation may include:
+ Evening/Weekend Shift Differential
+ Overtime

We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to:


* Join a team of highly skilled sonographers who are leaders in the field.

* Join our Pediatric Echo Lab that is accredited by the IAC in pediatric transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography.


* Care for patients from fetal life through adulthood and across the care continuum in spaces that include outpatient clinics, inpatient units, OR, Cath Lab, and the Emergency Department.

Qualifications:


* Required: Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CHAAHEP) approved ultrasound program, Associate Degree in Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, or relevant health sciences field


* Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or relevant health sciences field

Work Experience:


* Preferred: Pediatric echocardiography experience


* Preferred: 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a lab performing echocardiography testing

Licenses & Certifications:


* Required Upon Hire: Registered in Adult Echocardiography (AE)


* Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support/CPR


* Preferred: Pediatric Echocardiography (PE)


* Preferred: Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
