• Job Title: ServiceNow ITOM Integration Engineer

Summary:


* Design, build, and maintain ServiceNow ITOM integrations with strict testing and release discipline.

Highly technical role requiring JavaScript, PowerShell, and Python; strong communication and critical thinking to protect business impact.

Key Responsibilities:


* Implement and optimize ITOM modules: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Discovery.


* Build integrations via IntegrationHub/Flow Designer, REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks; develop MID Server scripts, probes, and patterns (JavaScript, PowerShell, Python).


* Integrate monitoring tools (e.g., LogicMonitor, Azure Monitor, SCOM, Dynatrace) with Event Management; dedup/suppress/correlate alerts; map to CIs/services.


* Govern CMDB data quality and CSDM alignment; manage identification/reconciliation, normalization, health and audit dashboards.


* Establish rigorous testing (ATF, regression, UAT) and gated promotions across dev/test/prod; maintain rollback plans and change records.


* Monitor/tune MID Servers and ECC Queue; perform performance/capacity planning and upgrade readiness.


* Produce clear documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and stakeholder presentations.


* Collaborate with Infra, App, Cloud, and Security teams; support incident/problem/change processes.

Required Skills & Experience:


* 4–7+ years with ServiceNow Development, including hands-on ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Mgmt, CMDB, MID Server).


* Strong JavaScript (Glide APIs, server-side), PowerShell, and Python scripting.


* REST/SOAP integration, JSON/XML transformation, authentication (OAuth, certificates, secrets).


* Source control (Git), ServiceNow Scoped Apps/Source Control, Update Set governance.


* Excellent communication; patient, detail-oriented tester; critical thinker who anticipates risk and business impact.


* Troubleshooting across Windows/Linux, networks, cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP).

Preferred/Bonus:


* Experience integrating LogicMonitor and major observability tools.


* CSDM v4+, Service Graph Connectors, CMDB health KPIs.


* Automated Test Framework, DevOps for ServiceNow, CI/CD pipelines.


* Security/compliance, credential vaulting, certificate management.


* Diagramming tools (Visio/Lucidchart/Draw.io).
