Fuel Technician - San Antonio, Texas

What are we looking for?

Under general supervision, the Fuels Technician oversees and maintains fueling activities and fuel systems throughout the company.

Assists in maintaining a fuel inventory.

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary for this position is $15.34.

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:


* Receives fuel deliveries via tanker truck.

Completes delivery paperwork.


* Be proficient with Fuel inventory management and software.


* Maintain Daily, Monthly fuel inventory.


* Performs fuel transfers as required to maintain engine lab operations.


* Takes fuel samples for analysis.


* Maintains the tote area for proper operation, maintenance, and cleanliness


* Inspects fuel lines for leaks or damage.

Notifies Mechanical Systems if repairs are needed.


* Assists engineers with special fuel needs.


* Performs periodic inspections of tanks and observation wells.


* Operate forklift as required.


* Responsible for complying with departmental ISO and Safety procedures.


* Assist performing a wash out for underground tanks.


* Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:


* High School or GED required.


* Basic mechanical skills and experience with tools


* Computer skills: proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word.


* Valid driver's license and reliable driving record required


* Must be available to work overtime and weekends for short notice assignments.
