Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) delivers a suite of payments services to financial institutions via FedLine® Solutions, Fedwire®, National Settlement Service (NSS), FedCash®, FedACH®, and Check Services.

We are currently leading a strategic effort to transform FRFS to a national, enterprise-focused organization.

You would manage a small quality engineering team (10-15 direct reports) as well as be accountable for the quality of mission critical applications.

Responsibilities include: 


* Partner with Product Owner, Development, Enterprise Architecture, and Infrastructure (NIT) organizations providing thought leadership in testing of mission critical applications. 


* Ability to work on multiple tasks while coaching others simultaneously to produce high quality deliverables. 


* Influences the team with strong working knowledge of test automation and performance testing techniques with the ability to understand implementation value and complexities. 


* Responsible for providing guidance and leadership to software test engineers, including hands on testing, and troubleshooting of complex applications. 


* Coaches all team members on quality culture from vision to implementation. 


* Demonstrates strong innovation, influencing, negotiating skills, and strategic agility. 


* Collaborate with other members of a cross-disciplinary team operating within the agile SAFE framework to consistently deliver Product improvements according to the guidelines. 

Managerial responsibilities of the job include: 


* Writing and Conducting performance appraisals for the team members 


* Identifying training needs in collaboration with other leadership 


* Mentoring and coaching team members 


* Recruiting and on/off boarding
