Administrative Services Analyst I/II - Compliance and Contracts
The County of Riverside's University Health System - Behavioral Health department seeks an Administrative Services Analyst I/II to join their Compliance and Contracts team located in Riverside.
This position is ideal for candidates who demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills, particularly in applying contracting principles across a variety of behavioral health service models.
The selected candidate will be able to work independently within established workflows, manage competing priorities with minimal oversight, and possess a working knowledge of public-sector procurement processes
Under direction, the incumbent will be responsible for developing, amending, tracking, and monitoring behavioral health contracts, including Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), contract renewals, and competitive procurements.
Duties include drafting and assembling contract documents, coordinating internal and external approvals, collaborating closely with program staff, and ensuring compliance with state and federal funding requirements (e.g., Medi-Cal, BH-CONNECT).
Experience supporting or administering contracts within the behavioral health field is strongly preferred.
Additional responsibilities include managing contract documentation within SharePoint, coordinating daily with internal departments and external vendors, and ensuring the timely routing of contract items for Board of Supervisors approval.
The position will also backfill critical workloads within the Contracts Administration Unit, playing a key role in maintaining operational continuity and ensuring uninterrupted behavioral health services.
Other related administrative duties will be assigned as required.
The ideal candidate will have professional experience and/or knowledge with the following:
- SharePoint, Adobe, and Access.
- Contract lifecycle management.
- Professional communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Public sector contracting practices.
- State and Federal funding streams, including Medi-Cal and BH-Connect.
- Board of Supervisors approval processes and associated documentation.
Work schedule:
9/80 Monday - Friday, start time 7:30am or 8:00am with every other Friday off.
The Administrative Services Analyst I classification is a natural progression under fill for the class of Administrative Services Analyst II.
Incumbents are eligible to promote to Administrative Services Analyst II after obtaining one year of experience as an Administrative Services Analyst I, receiving a satisfactory performance evaluation, and meeting the educational and/or experience requirements.
Failure to meet the requirements to promote at the end of the probationary period will result in incumbents being returned to their former County classification or new hires being probationary released.
